✅ Today's Plan

🔒 There are no boxes to tick. Each task fills up by itself only when you really do the work in that tab — the app checks your answers, your typing and your voice. No shortcuts! 😊 Press Go → to start one.

🗣️ Speaking is #1

The skill Uzbek learners practise least is the one that unlocks fluency. Read one paragraph aloud every single day using the Listen & Speak tab.

📓 Keep a word log

Every new word you meet, add it to the Vocabulary deck. Reviewing 10 old words beats learning 30 you'll forget.

🧠 Think in English

Narrate small things in your head: "I'm making tea… I need to charge my phone." No translating from Uzbek — build direct thinking.

📚 The 8-Week Curriculum

Built for a 13-year-old going from B1 to B2. Each week = a grammar focus, a vocabulary theme, reading, and a real-world task. Weekends are lighter (review + fun input like a film with English subtitles). Aim for 2–3 hours a day, split into chunks.

🎯 How the 2 months are structured

  • Weeks 1–2 — Rebuild the base. Fix the B1 leaks (articles, tenses) so B2 has a solid floor.
  • Weeks 3–4 — Complexity. Conditionals, passive, relative clauses — the grammar that sounds B2.
  • Weeks 5–6 — Range & nuance. Reported speech, modals of deduction, phrasal verbs, collocations.
  • Weeks 7–8 — Fluency & exam skills. Put it together: essays, discussions, a mock B2 speaking test.

🕌 Your daily rhythm (a suggestion)

Fits around prayer and family time. Adjust freely — consistency matters more than the exact clock.

  • Morning (45 min) — Grammar lesson + exercises while your mind is fresh.
  • Midday (30 min) — Vocabulary review (flashcards) + read one passage aloud.
  • Afternoon (30 min) — Listening & speaking practice; shadow the audio.
  • Evening (30 min) — Writing task OR watch 20 min of English video with English subtitles, note 5 words.

🃏 Vocabulary — Smart Flashcards

A fresh set of words every day, matched to your level (A1 gets easy words, C1 gets harder ones — switch levels any time). You see the Uzbek meaning and write or say the English word — no peeking! Get it right → next word; don't know it → it comes back later. The meaning and an example appear below each time.

✏️ Grammar Gym

Ten focused lessons — the exact grammar that moves you from B1 to B2. Read the short explanation (with tips for Uzbek speakers 🇺🇿), then do the practice. Instant feedback.

📖 Reading Room

Real texts at B1–B2 level. Topics chosen for a curious 13-year-old — including the great scholars of your own homeland. Hover the glowing words for meaning. Read each passage aloud first, then answer.

🎧 Listen & Speak

This uses your browser's built-in voice. Listening: hear a sentence and type it (dictation). Speaking: read a sentence aloud and the app checks your pronunciation. Works best in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

🔈 Pronunciation clinic — sounds that are tricky for Uzbek speakers

Uzbek doesn't have some English sounds, so these need extra reps. Press 🔊, listen, then say it back.

📝 Dictation (Listening)

Press play, listen carefully, and type exactly what you hear. Then check.

🎙️ Speaking — read the sentence aloud

Your speech will appear here…

✍️ Writing Studio

B2 writing = clear structure + linking words + a range of grammar. Pick a task, use the checklist, write, then compare with a model answer. Your drafts save automatically on this device.

📷 Focus Cam — your study buddy

Focus Cam turns on automatically the moment you enter Bilingo. If it spots your phone — or you stop studying (no typing or talking) for 10 seconds — it reminds you to get back to English in Uzbek, Russian and English. If it sees a book, it cheers you on. 🌟

🔒 100% private — please read

The camera runs only on this device. The video is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere — the little AI that spots a phone or a book works right here inside your browser. It keeps guarding across every lesson; to switch it off you must press Stop three times (it asks you to confirm each time).

Camera is off.

💡 How to use it

  • It starts by itself when you open Bilingo — no button needed. Point the camera at your study desk (use 🔄 Flip camera on a phone).
  • It guards across every lesson — a red ● LIVE badge stays on screen so you always know.
  • If it sees your phone — or you stop working for 10 seconds — a loud alarm sounds and a warning flashes in Uzbek, Russian and English.
  • To turn it off you must press Stop three times (it double-checks each time). Your goal: fewer alarms each day!

Needs the internet the first time (to load the AI) and a secure https:// address such as bilingo.uz. Works on computer and phone browsers (Chrome / Safari / Edge).
